10-5-2009. . . .GRACE HERE ABOUNDS!
“Before, sin ruled over all men and brought them to death, but now God's kindness rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Rom 5:21 TLB) How wonderful it is to be free from the reign of sin in our lives. Now because of grace, we live unto Christ. Don’t think however, that the devil is pleased and has gone away never to temp and test us again. Not so. In fact, he will be always lurking around somewhere to see if we will give him an opportunity to get in. Our response to him is, Jesus is Lord and Grace here abounds!
Prayer: Lord, thank you for the gift of your grace. It is truly amazing. Keep me ever safely within your protective hedge where mercy and grace abound.
Rom 5:20-21. . . . Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. KJV
