The greatest gift we can give back to God is the gift of our self. Our time, our talents, our treasure, and most importantly, our completely surrendered will.  Lord, I give you me!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for being so good to us.  There is no one like you.  We surrender our will to your will.  Have your way in us.  Amen!

A good way to start each day is to think about the benefits we enjoy by being God's children. It is certain we won't get to far down the list before we have to stop and bless His name!  When we think of His goodness and all that He has done for us. . . . .you finish it!

PRAYER: Lord, we praise and bless your name for your goodness all the wonderful benefits you daily load upon us!  Hallelujah, Bless your name!  Amen.

"Do not lie in wait like an outlaw against a righteous man's house, do not raid his dwelling place;  for though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again, but the wicked are brought down by calamity. (Prov 24:15-16 NIV)  

When the wicked go down they stay down, but the righteous will prevail time and time again.  We may at times take a lickin, but we keep on tickin!

PRIORITY ONE!

When God is priority one in our lives, success will not be an intermittent nor temporary experience!   It will be our lifestyle.

PRAYER: Lord, we seek and need your direction.  We acknowledge you in all our ways; please direct our paths!  Amen!

THE LORD'S RELEASE!

And David inquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all. (1 Sam 30:8 KJV)  

There is a time when the Lord will release us to go after our enemy!  Let's be certain that it is the Lord's release and not our own.

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for letting our enemies know we will fight and win, but only when you give us release to do so!  Amen!

COMMAND AND CONTROL!

"And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.  And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?  (Mark 4:39-40 KJV) 

 In the mist of every storm remember, Jesus can still command peace and cause everything to settle down and be still.  It's called Command and Control!  All that's required of us is our faith.

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for having command and control over all storms that may arise in our lives.  Help us to have faith that does not weaver and faint.  Amen!

Mark 11:22-23. . . .And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.  For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. .FAITH BEYOND FACTS!

7-21-2021. . . .FAITH BEYOND FACTS!

"By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. (Heb 11:3 NKJV) 

Archaeology, Anthropology, Paleontology and other discovery sciences (as wonderful as they are) glean their knowledge from the study of things that exist or once existed. Great knowledge and facts have been obtained this way!  However, to understand the true origin of all things requires faith beyond facts!  

PRAYER: Lord, by faith we know and understand all things.  No science could ever inform us as well as your word can.  Thank you for your word.  Amen.  

Ps 33:6-8. . . .By the word of the LORD were the heavens made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth.   He gathers the waters of the sea into jars; he puts the deep into storehouses.  Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the people of the world revere him. NIV

GOOD CONSEQUENCES!

"I have chosen the way of truth; I have set my heart on your laws.  I hold fast to your statutes, O LORD; do not let me be put to shame."  Ps 119:30-31 (NIV)  

Our choices have consequences!  The nature of the consequence is contingent upon the nature of the choice.  Bad choices bring bad consequences; good choices bring good consequences.   What's your choice?  Choose the ways of truth and hold fast to them!  So shall you experience good consequences.

Prayer: Lord, lead us daily in the ways of truth and help us to make that choice our own consistently.  Amen!

2 Chron 6:30-31. . . . Hear from heaven where you live and forgive, and give each one whatever he deserves, for you know the hearts of all mankind.  Then they will reverence you forever and will continually walk where you tell them to go. TLB

INCREASE THE GOOD!

7-16-2021. . . .INCREASE THE GOOD!

"For we must all stand before Christ to be judged and have our lives laid bare-before him. Each of us will receive whatever he deserves for the good or bad things he has done in his earthly body." (2 Cor 5:10 TLB) 

The day of accounting is surely going to come when every believer will stand before the Lord Jesus and receive our reward for the things done while here on the earth.  A lot is said about our golden crowns and white robes and such, but please know, we will also receive what we have earned for the bad we have done as well.  Our salvation will not be at stake, but think of the reward we will loose as a result of our bad deeds.   How much are we willing to loose?  Eliminate the bad and increase the good; so also our reward shall be!

PRAYER: Lord you are just and true in all your ways.  There is no unrighteousness with you.  We pray that before your return we eliminate all the bad from our lives so that you will only have to reward us for our good!  Amen!

Ps 37:27-30. . . .So if you want an eternal home, leave your evil, low-down ways and live good lives. For the Lord loves justice and fairness; he will never abandon his people. They will be kept safe forever; but all who love wickedness shall perish. The godly shall be firmly planted in the land and live there forever. The godly man is a good counselor because he is just and fair and knows right from wrong.  TLB

WHAT BETTER PLACE TO BE!

"We live within the shadow of the Almighty, sheltered by the God who is above all gods.  This I declare, that he alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I am trusting him." (Ps 91:1-3TLB)  

To live in one's shadow requires being constantly in close proximity.  It is easy to trust Him when one is always with Him!  What better place to be than as close as possible to God! 

PRAYER: Lord, how lovely is your dwelling place; there is no place else I'd rather be!  Daily as we walk, let us walk close to thee!  Amen!

Ps 16:11. . . .Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.  KJV

THE FIGHT IS FIXED!

7-14-2021. . . . .THE FIGHT IS FIXED!

"And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly."  (Rom 16:20 NKJV)   

Anyone that has ever watched a professional boxing match would noticed that as the rounds are about to end, the pace of the fighters quickens.  When the final round of the fight comes, the battle seems to intensify all the more because both fighters know this is there last opportunity to get their punches in!  Our battle with Satan has intensified only because he knows his time is short.  Soon, he will be crushed under our feet and our arms will be raised in victory!  Hang in there and keep fighting!  The fight is fixed! :-)

Prayer: Thank you Lord for victory through Jesus Christ.  Strengthen us to withstand the battles in order that we may win the war.  Amen.

1 Cor 15:58. . . .So, my dear brothers, since future victory is sure, be strong and steady, always abounding in the Lord's work, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever wasted as it would be if there were no resurrection.  TLB

WAIT ON GOD!

7-13-2021. . . .WAIT ON GOD!

"And the LORD appointed a set time, saying, To morrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land." (Ex 9:5 KJV)  

God sets His own times and keeps His own schedule!  If He declares a thing, surely He will bring it to pass!   Get in sync with God and wait on Him!  Remember, He scheduled our moments before there was none of them!  He's in control and He has everything under control!

Prayer: Lord, how awesome you are in all your marvelous splendor!  It blows my mind How you are always way ahead of the game.  Before I was formed you scheduled every day of my life!  Why then are we impatient?  Help us Lord, to wait on You!  Amen.

Ps 139:15-16. . . . You were there while I was being formed in utter seclusion!  You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your book!  TLB

HANG IN THERE!

7-9-2021. . . .HANG IN THERE! 

"Do not let this happy trust in the Lord die away, no matter what happens. Remember your reward!  You need to keep on patiently doing God's will if you want him to do for you all that he has promised." (Heb 10:35-37 TLB) 

 We have  come to far to give up, in, out or over: we can't turn  around now!  No, it is not always easy, but it is worth the fight!  Hang in there, for greater blessings and our reward is in front of us!

PRAYER: Lord, sometimes it gets really really hard to keep trusting you.  Not because of You, (for you are faithful) but because of the insecurities within us.  We want to be in control!  (As if we know and can influence the outcome of our affairs)  Have mercy on us and give us your peace as we submit both willingly and unwillingly to your will.  Amen!

Heb 10:32-34. . . .Don't ever forget those wonderful days when you first learned about Christ. Remember how you kept right on with the Lord even though it meant terrible suffering.  Sometimes you were laughed at and beaten, and sometimes you watched and sympathized with others suffering the same things.  You suffered with those thrown into jail, and you were actually joyful when all you owned was taken from you, knowing that better things were awaiting you in heaven, things that would be yours forever. TLB

A CONTAGIOUS MOVEMENT!

“And now this word to all of you: You should be like one big happy family, full of sympathy toward each other, loving one another with tender hearts and humble minds.” (1 Peter 3:8 TLB)  

If the world is to be a better place, and what’s more, if we are to be a better people, we would do well to implement this advise. Starting in our own families, our churches, and then spreading it abroad throughout our neighborhoods, cities and all around the world! What a contagious movement that would be!

Prayer: Lord, help us start a contagious movement of love and compassion that transforms not only our personal lives, but the entire world. Amen!

1 Peter 3:8. . . . Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble. NIV

DON'T SWEAT IT!

7-7-2021. . . .DON'T SWEAT IT!

"And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.  (Mal 3:11 KJV)  

No matter what you do, there will always be outside forces whose sole purpose is to destroy your (produce) fruit. Their success is based upon their ability to create distractions that result in loss of focus.  God says however, don't sweat it!  Stay focused!   I got this!  I will repel everything and everybody that comes against you.  Nothing shall hinder or abort the manifestation of your divine purpose! 

Prayer: Lord, thank you for always having our back!  Help us stay aligned with your will and purpose.  Amen!

AT THE HEART OF IT!

"For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." (Rom 10:10-11 NIV) 

One's mouth cannot confess what one's heart does not believe.  Listen carefully to the confessions of one's mouth to quickly discern the beliefs of one's heart.  

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for changing our hearts in a way that allows our beliefs and our confessions to match.   Amen.

Matt 12:34-35. . . .O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.  A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.  KJV

WALK AND WAIT!

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."  (Isa 40:31 KJV)

It is said that patience is a virtue, but it should also be our way a life!  Walking confidently with the Lord enables us to wait patiently on the Lord!

PRAYER: Lord, we wait upon you and walk patiently with you!  Help us to never faint!  Amen.

IT'S MOVING TIME!

"Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.  "Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.(Joshua 1:2-3)   

Today is the day!   With a made up mind, move pass dead issues and dead people; both figuratively and literally.  The promise of God is before you!   Go get what God has for you!   IT'S MOVING TIME! 

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for your promises and word that shall never fail.  Today we move forward and pass dead issues and people into the destiny you have for us.  Amen!
