FORGIVE QUICKLY!

THIS IS YOUR CUE: MOVE FORWARD!

1-28-2022. . . .THIS IS YOUR CUE: MOVE FORWARD!

"The LORD our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount: (Deut 1:6 KJV)

Although where we are may be good, comfortable, stable and even desirable, it was never intended for permanency.  There is more for us, so we must expand our borders.  Yes, this will require moving out of our comfort zones, but we will be the better for it.  It's been good, but it's also been long enough!  MOVE FORWARD!

Prayer: Lord, thank you for bringing us to our current place.  Give us wisdom to understand there is more for us and the courage to move forward towards it!  Amen.

Deut 2:7. . . . The Lord your God has watched over you and blessed you every step of the way for all these forty years as you have wandered around in this great wilderness; and you have lacked nothing in all that time.' TLB

PRAY OR PREY!

1-27-2022. . . .PRAY OR PREY!

Watch with me and pray lest the Tempter overpower you. For though the spirit is willing enough, the body is weak." (Mark 14:38 TLB)

Pray or become Prey!  The enemy is relentless in his attempts to stop us from daily walking in total victory.  Except we stay watchful and constantly pray, we will become the enemy's prey; for he walks about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.  Choose to Pray or become the Prey!

Prayer: Lord, thank you for victory!  Help us stay consistent and pray so that we avoid becoming the enemy's prey.  Amen!

1 Thess 5:17-18. . . . Pray without ceasing.   In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. KJV

COMPLETE THE WORKOUT!

1-26-2022. . . .COMPLETE THE WORKOUT!

"If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small."  (Prov 24:10 KJV)

Strength is reserved for the day of adversity; and thereby perfected.  Exert strength in adversity and it will prevail if you don't give up. (faint)  Adversity is strength's daily workout!  Don't give up or give in.  Complete the workout!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for times of adversity that perfect our faith and our strength.  Amen!

2 Cor 12:9. . . . Each time he said, "No. But I am with you; that is all you need. My power shows up best in weak people." TLB

DRAW AND DRINK!

1-25-2022. . . .DRAW AND DRINK!

"Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. (12:2-3 KJV)

There is nothing more comforting than the confidence we have in the Lord to save and deliver us from all our fears.  The spirit of fear, which is not from the Lord, will at times come upon us in an effort to threaten and paralyze us.  However, with power, love and a sound mind we draw and drink deeply from the wells of our great salvation!  Don't be afraid, DRAW AND DRINK!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for the confidence we have in you!  We need not ever be afraid to draw and drink from your well of salvation whereby, our thirst is always quenched.  Amen!

Ps 56:9-12. . . . The very day I call for help, the tide of battle turns. My enemies flee! This one thing I know: God is for me!   I am trusting God-oh, praise his promises! I am not afraid of anything mere man can do to me! Yes, praise his promises.  I will surely do what I have promised, Lord, and thank you for your help. TLB

IF HE CAN DO THAT HE CAN DO THIS!

1-21-2022. . . .IF HE CAN DO THAT HE CAN DO THIS!

"I lift up my eyes to the hills--where does my help come from?  My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth." (Ps 121:1-2 NIV)

Help is always available when one knows where to look!  The Lord God is our help!  Look to Him first instead of as a last resort.

PRAYERLord, you are my present help and source of all my supply.  My eyes shall forever look to you for all things.  Amen!

Ps 54:4. . . . Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me.  NIV

DON'T LOOK BACK!

1-20-2022. . . .DON'T LOOK BACK!

"Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.  But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.   And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the LORD:  And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace."  (Gen 19:24-28 KJV)

Looking back could very well lead to going back or a longing for what one had!  Devastating consequences can ensue if what's behind hinders what God has prepared ahead!  We will never have anything different until we want something different!  When God makes a way, go that way and don't look back!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for always making a way for us.  May are hearts never be so hardened to the point that we refuse what you have ahead of us for something behind or beneath us.  Amen!

Jer 29:11. . . .For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.  TLB

THE GUIDING LIGHT!

1-19-2022. . . .THE GUIDING LIGHT!

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?  The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?  (Psalms 27:1 kjv)

The Guiding Light is more than the title of a long running soap opera, for believers, it is our reality!  Daily our assigned path is illuminated by the one that orders our steps and delights in our way.  We have no need to fear and if we trust Him as we continually walk in the light, we will not falter.

PRAYER: Lord God, thank you for being our guiding light.  Our trust is in you as we navigate the path of destiny you have set before us.  Amen!

PSALMS 37:23-24. . . .The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.

JUST BE!

1-18-22. . . .JUST BE!

He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. (St. John 1:11 ESV)

Often those that know us best fail to recognize or except the greatness that rest upon us.   They try to restrict us by imposing the boundaries and limitations of what they remember about us during our developmental stages.  As disappointing and hurtful as that is, we are still who we are and more importantly, who God says we are and has called us to be.  We are under no obligation to dumb ourself down or dim our light because others are uncomfortable with who we are! So, just Be!

PRAYER: LORD GOD, thank you for making us who we are!  Help us unapologetically just be without fear are concern about what the world thinks.  Thy will be done in Us.  Amen!

Jeremiah 1:5. . . .Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.  ESV

GOD AND GOD ALONE!

 1-17-2021. . . .GOD AND GOD ALONE!

“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?" (Jeremiah 32:27 kjv)

God Himself poses this rhetorical question: not because there is any cause or reason to doubt this irrefutable fact, but as a reminder to any and all who hold this fact in casual regard.  God is God and will always be God in all His God-ness.  He can lift up and He can take down. The rhetorical question is one where no answer is required and assumed to be universally known!  Make sure you know!

PRAYER: Lord God, we acknowledge today and everyday, that you are God and God alone!  There is nothing to hard for you.  You are in control and you have everything under control!  All praise, glory and honor belong to You forever and ever.  Amen!

ISAIAH 43:19. . . .For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. NLT

ON PURPOSE!

SEASON TIME PURPOSE!

1-14-2022. . . . SEASON TIME PURPOSE!

"To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:"  (Ecclesiastes 3:1a kjv)

S T P!  Season - Time - Purpose!  They are inter-related.  Every Purpose has a Season and Time allotted to it.  Our decisions create conditions that affect time and prolong Seasons.  Time can be diverted by bad choices resulting in missed Season and aborted Purpose!  Discern the Season - Be in time on Time - Walk in Purpose on Purpose!

PRAYER: Lord God, author of our Seasons Time and Purpose.  Thank you for granting us all three.  Help us to be good stewards of what you have given.  Amen!

Daniel 2:20-22. . . .Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, For wisdom and might are His.  And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise And knowledge to those who have understanding. He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him.  nkjv

EMBRACE WHAT IS!

 1-12-2022. . . .EMBRACE WHAT IS!

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."  (I Corinthian 5:17 nkjv)

Embrace what is and not what was!  We ARE new creations and everything associated with is new and has to respond to us in new ways.  If we continue acting as if we are the same, the old things are under no obligation to respond to us differently.  When we embrace walk in our new identity, ALL things are become new and respond in kind!  So again, Embrace what is and not what was!

PRAYERS: Lord God, thank you for making us new and causing all things around us to be new and respond to us as the New Creations you have made us.  Amen!

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

WE NEVER DEVIATE!

1-11-2022. . . .WE NEVER DEVIATE!

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD,  and in His law he meditates day and night.  (Psalms 1:1 nkjv)

Believers by (spiritual) nature are conscious and cautious about our associations.  We understand that bad company corrupts good character.  We watch where and with whom we walk; we are selective about where we stand; we are strategic in choosing our seats.  This all because we are guided daily by His law and Spirit and we never deviate from it!

PRAYER:  Lord God, thank you for daily guiding us in the paths of righteousness.  Help us to be cautious and not curious.  Keep our minds always on you.  Amen!

I Corinthians 15:33. . . .Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”

WE NEVER DEVIATE!

1-10-2022. . . .WE NEVER DEVIATE!

ABOVE AND BEYOND!

Friday, January 7, 2022

WAY ABOVE WAY BEYOND!

 12-7-2022. . . .WAY ABOVE WAY BEYOND!

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.  (Ephesians 3:20  kjv)

We are always pleased and pleasantly surprised when someone goes above and beyond our expectations.  To go above and beyond in and of it self would be extremely satisfying and anything more than that is almost inconceivable except, with God.  Not only is He willing to go above and beyond and do exceeding abundantly more, He is ABLE to do it!  The first word in the text is NOW meaning, the ball is in our court to trust Him to do just what He said!

PRAYER: Lord, you are the God of the inconceivable.  Not only are you willing, but you are able to whatever you said.  We trust you daily to do just that and more.  Amen!

I Corinthians 2: 9-10. . . .But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”  But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit.  For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

THY WILL BE DONE!

12-6-2022. . . .THY WILL BE DONE!

"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him."  (I John 5:14  kjv)

To know God's word is to know God's will.  Knowing His will gives us the confidence to communicate or concerns and desires to Him without selfish intentions or fear of rejection.  Our will then, is His will: and His will always is done in heaven and on earth!

PRAYER: Lord God, thy will be done.  Amen!

ST. MARK 11:24. . . .Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.  kjv

THE ORIGINAL ORIGNATOR!

1-5-2022. . . .THE ORIGINAL ORIGNATOR!

"Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."  (Hebrews 11:3 kjv)

There is not one inventor living or dead that created something out of nothing.  What ever was invented was created by using a combination of things that already existed,  God on the other hand, created everything out of nothing.  He is the original originator and even today retains His ultimate and unlimited creative power: OMNIFICENT!   Put another way, He can still make a way out of no way!!

PRAYER: Lord God, thank you for being our creator, provider, protector, and our way maker!  Whatever needs to be you have the ability to call it into existence. May our faith match your ultimate and unlimited ability.  Amen!

St. Matthew 19:26b. . . .with God all things are possible!

KEEP IT 100!

1-4-2022. . . .KEEP IT 100!

"For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account". . . .(Hebrews 4:12-13 NKJV)

There's an old adage that says, "You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time."  While this is certainly true of man, it is in no way accurate with God!  He cannot be fooled!  He sees all and He knows all.  Any attempts at hiding anything from Him are futile.  So it is best we keep it 100 with God remembering that He loves us in spite of what He knows about us!  He will help us confront what we are willing to confess.

PRAYER: Lord God, thank you for loving us in spite of what you know about us.  Help us to confess and confront our deficiencies and yield ourselves to your conformity.  Amen

I John 1:9 nkjv. . . .If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
