LIFE LESSON!

6-26-2018. . . .LIFE LESSON!

"Don't criticize, and then you won't be criticized.  For others will treat you as you treat them.  And why worry about a speck in the eye of a brother when you have a board in your own?  (Matt 7:1-3 TLB) 

This life lesson is one we would all do well to learn and live by.  "Love your neighbor as yourself; treat others as you would want to be treated!"

PRAYER: Lord, help us to live together in peace and harmony always.  Amen.

Matt 22:37-39. . . . Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  This is the first and great commandment.   And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. KJV

HELL IS NOT FOR YOU!

6-21-2018. . . .HELL IS NOT FOR YOU!

"Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:  (Matt 25:41 NKJV)

Hell is not for us, but the choices we make, can and will cause us to end up there.  Hell is prepared specifically for the devil and his angels; not us!   "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. ( 2 Peter 3:9 KJV)

God has a better place prepared for us.  Don't forfeit it by choice!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for being a loving and longsuffering God.  Your desire is that all men would be saved!  We pray earnestly for those that have not accepted your salvation plan.  May they seek and find you before time runs out!  Amen.

E X P E C T A T I O N!

"See, I am doing a new thing!  Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland." (Isa 43:19 NIV)   

God never runs out of ways of making a way!  Therefore, we should never be without  E X P E C T A T I O N!

Prayer: Lord, you are a way maker!  Thank you for continuously making ways for us!  Amen.

Rom 8:31. . . .What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? KJV

REMEMBER WHAT YOU KNOW!

6-14-2018. . . .REMEMBER WHAT YOU KNOW!

"Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.  (Isa 40:27-28 KJV)  

It is not uncommon for us to experience times of weariness, exhaustion, and even become exasperated about our struggles and challenges that seemingly, will never change.  God, however, experiences none of these things! He remains sovereign, faithful, powerful, in control and has everything under control!  Don't give up, out, over or in!  Remember Who you know and What you know!

PRAYER: Lord, from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God!  May our feeble mines never in frustration forget who you are and fail to rely and call on you for strength!  Amen.

Ps 90:1-2. . . .LORD, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.  Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.  KJV

EMBRACE THE NEW!

6-13-2018. . . .EMBRACE THE NEW!

When someone becomes a Christian, he becomes a brand new person inside. He is not the same anymore. A new life has begun!   2 Cor 5:17 TLB

If you've been thinking you are the same since you believed, you are wrong!  We may have done some of the same things and visited some of the same places, but we will never be the same again! Embrace the change!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for changing us inside.  Help us to embrace the change and walk in the newness of life!  Amen.

Heb 10:23. . . . Now we can look forward to the salvation God has promised us. There is no longer any room for doubt, and we can tell others that salvation is ours, for there is no question that he will do what he says.  TLB

EVIDENCE!

6-12-2018. . . .EVIDENCE!

"To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted. They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good. (Titus 1:15-16 NIV) 

In a court of law, evidence is required in order to convict someone of an offense.  Likewise, evidence is required to convince the world we really know God!

Prayer: Lord, may the life we live and the good works we do be clear evidence to the world that you are God and we are your children.  Amen!

Luke 6:43-45. . . ."No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. 44 Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers. 45 The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks. 

GOD'S GOT ME!

6-7-2018. . . .GOD'S GOT ME!

"Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with my victorious right hand."  (Isa 41:10 TLB) 

No matter how serious the challenge or how mighty the enemy, we need not fear because God, by His own volition, has chosen to help us! He promises strength, help, and most importantly, victory!  Put it in the atmosphere for yourself!  GOT'S GOT ME!

Prayer: Lord, you are my strength, my help, my Victory!  Thank you for choosing to be on my side!  Amen.

 Ps 27:1-3. . . .The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?  When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.  Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.  KJV

"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."  (Jer 29:11 TLB)  

Don't doubt your future, believe in it!  It's not in our hands, it's in His hands; and it looks much better than what we can see right now!  MUCH BETTER!

PRAYER: Lord, when our present challenges cause us to become short sighted about our future, help us to yet trust your word and remember that it will prevail until it is fulfilled!  Amen.

Prov 3:5-6. . . . Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.  KJV

RELEASE IT NOW!

"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. . . ." (Eph 3:20 KJV)

Stop holding on and trying to work out things that only God can do.  Release it to Him now, and your faith in Him along with it!

PRAYER: Lord, by your mighty power alone you are able to do far more than we could every, ask, think, or imagine.  Your will be done.  Amen!
