"And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.  When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? (John 5:5-6 KJV)  

Before the Lord will change our condition, He often will cause us to first confront it!  How willing are we to participate in our own deliverance?   This certain man was in his condition for thirty eight years and in that time, he had not moved any closer than the porch to his deliverance.  Thus, Jesus question: do you really want to be made whole?  The questions for us today are: Do we want the Lord to do it all for us immediately or, are we willing to participate in our own deliverance?  How bad do we really want it?

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for being our deliverer.  Lord do what you can do and help us to do what we can do.  Amen!

WHAT DOES THE METHOD MATTER!

"I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.  As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.  When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.)   He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing."  (John 9:4-7 KJV)   

It has been said and correctly so, "The Lord works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform!"  What does the method matter if the result is your miracle? 

PRAYER: Lord, you and you alone are God.  Anyway you bless us, no matter the method, we will be satisfied! Amen.

Dan 4:3. . . .How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.  KJV

"And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.  And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way. (Mark 10:51-52 KJV)  

Like this blind man, we all cry out our request to the Lord for one thing or the other.  Should the Lord grant our request, will it cause us to follow Him more closely?  Why do we want what we want from the Lord?  Motive examination required!

PRAYER: Lord thank you for hearing and answering our prayers and granting our request.  Help us always to have pure motives that cause us to follow you more closely.  Amen!

1 John 5:14-15. . . .And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:  And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.  KJV

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT!

"And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.   But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.  And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague."  (Mark 5:31-34 KJV)  

The power of a purposeful touch is amazing.  For the woman with the issue of blood, it produced her healing and got Jesus' attention!  If believers everywhere would reach out with purpose and touch the world, what amazing things would that produce and how much attention from Jesus would that receive?  Something to think about!

PRAYER: Lord, you touched the world with your love and it has produced and is producing generations of believers.  Help us to purposefully touch the world as well.  Amen!

Matt 5:13-14. . . .Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.  Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. KJV

THEY WON'T KNOW WHAT HIT EM!

"When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. (Prov 16:7 KJV)  

One sure way to deal with our enemies is to let the Lord handle them!  If we simply focus on pleasing the Lord through our actions, not only towards Him, but towards our enemies as well, the Lord Himself will cause our enemies to be still and they won't know what hit em!

PRAYER: Lord, you have such a cool way of handling things!  If we were left to our own devices as it relates to dealing with our enemies, it would be nothing less then a big mess.  Continue teaching us yours ways and may our ways be always pleasing to you.  Amen.

NAME DROPPING!

"That at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Phil 2:10-11 TLB)  

There are times and situations when we can drop certain names and cause a reaction to occur.  However, there is only one name that can be named that can command a total world response; J E S U S!  Talk about the ultimate in name dropping. . . this is it!

PRAYER:  Lord, your name is above every name and at the mention of it, all the world must respond!  Glory to your name forever.  Amen!

John 14:12-14. . . .You can ask him for anything, using my name, and I will do it, for this will bring praise to the Father because of what I, the Son, will do for you.  Yes, ask anything, using my name, and I will do it!  TLB

"Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.   Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame." (1 Cor 15:33-34 KJV) 

 Be careful not to let the godless speak words of corruption in our atmosphere.  Words have power to produce thoughts that change actions and behavior!  Stay alert!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for the ability to guard our hearts and minds.  Help us to be ever mindful of those who don't honor you in their words or actions.  Amen!

DON'T BE DECEIVED!

The object of deception is to gain advantage through misleading statements or actions.  Guard your destiny! The enemy would love nothing more than to throw us off course and send us down the wrong path!  Stay focused - DON'T BE DECEIVED! 

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for giving us a discerning spirit in order that we can avoid being deceived by the enemy! Amen.

Every action is initiated by a thought!  The purer, truer, lovelier the thought, so shall the resulting actions be.  Think right, do right, be right!

PRAYER: Lord, purify our minds so that our thoughts and actions will be pleasing to you and all mankind.  Amen! 

Prov 16:1-3. . . .The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.  All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.  Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.  KJV

ASK, SEEK AND KNOCK!

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.  "Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?  Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?  If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! (Matt 7:7-12 NIV)  

God is not in the business of playing hide and seek!  There are things He wants us to have, things He wants us to know and places that are ordained for us to go.  We need only ask, seek and knock!  If we do our part, God will do His!

Prayer:  Lord, thank you for giving us full kingdom access.  We have only to ask, seek and knock in order to receive, know and enter.  In Jesus name, we will!  Amen.

Time & Seasons!

BELIEVER'S PRIORITY!

3-11-2022. . . .BELIEVER'S PRIORITY!

"So don't worry at all about having enough food and clothing. Why be like the heathen?  For they take pride in all these things and are deeply concerned about them.   But your heavenly Father already knows perfectly well that you need them, and he will give them to you if you give him first place in your life and live as he wants you to.  (Matt 6:31-33 TLB)   

The law of priority says first things must be first and the main thing must remain the main thing!  Pursuit of the kingdom and the kingdom way is always a believer's priority and key to kingdom prosperity.

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for the key and plan for obtaining kingdom prosperity.  Help us to keep the main thing the main thing in our lives.  Amen!

EVERYTHING MUST CHANGE!

"Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,  And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.  (Mark 1:14-15 KJV)  

The law of repentance says nothing can remain the same, there must be a change in order to operate effectively in the kingdom.  A change in our minds, in our actions and attitude towards life and people!  We are in the world but, no longer of the world.

PRAYER: Lord, we accept your invitation into your kingdom here on earth.  We submit to your will and the process of repentance.  Amen!

2 Cor 5:.17. . . . When someone becomes a Christian, he becomes a brand new person inside. He is not the same anymore.   A new life has begun! TLB

STRENGTHEN OTHERS!

"And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:  But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren." (Luke 22:31-32 KJV) 

Like Simon, Satan's desire is to shake us up, mess us up, and destroy our destiny.  The continual prayers of our Savior however, covers and strengthens us in every struggle.  As He indeed strengthens us, we too must seek to strengthen others along our way!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for your prayers that continually cover and strengthen us.  Help us to in turn strengthen others along our way.  Amen!

Zech 10:12. . . .The Lord says, "I will make my people strong with power from me! They will go wherever they wish, and wherever they go they will be under my personal care."  TLB

KEEP A GOOD ATTITUDE!

3-8-2022. . . .KEEP A GOOD ATTITUDE!

"I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.  Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD."  (Ps 27:13-14 KJV)  

God operates in His own time zone and our time (Chronos: clock time) is subject to it.  If we measure God's movement or the seemingly, "lack thereof" by our time, we may grow impatient, anxious, and even become faint of heart.  Keep a good attitude (be of good courage) while fully trusting God; knowing that in just the right moment He will strengthen you!

PRAYER: Lord, teach us to trust you more and wait with a good attitude for you to strengthen us in right when we need it most   Amen!

Ps 119:27-28. . . . Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.  My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word.  KJV

OPPOSITION EXPECTED!

"For you have armed me with strong armor for the battle. My enemies quail before me and fall defeated at my feet. You made them turn and run; I destroyed all who hated me. (Ps 18:39-41TLB) 

Opposition is to be expected when one attempts great things.  What God ordains He sustains.  He equips His servants well for every challenge and all haters will see defeat.  Expect opposition and don't be thrown by it!

PRAYER: Lord, you are strong and mighty.  You equip all those you call for every challenge and all opposition. With you we prevail!  Amen.

Ps 28:6-7. . . .Oh, praise the Lord, for he has listened to my pleadings!  He is my strength, my shield from every danger. I trusted in him, and he helped me. TLB

DEFER AND SUCCEED!

"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."  (Phil 4:13 KJV) 

What we may lack in our own ability and power, we can fully accomplish through Christ and His enabling power in us.  Simply defer to Him and succeed.  

PRAYER:  Lord, thank you for your enabling power!  There is nothing we cannot accomplish for the kingdom when we defer to you.  Amen.

Eph 1:19-21. . . . I pray that you will begin to understand how incredibly great his power is to help those who believe him. It is that same mighty power  that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God's right hand in heaven, far, far above any other king or ruler or dictator or leader.  TLB

"So be careful not to jump to conclusions before the Lord returns as to whether someone is a good servant or not. When the Lord comes, he will turn on the light so that everyone can see exactly what each one of us is really like, deep down in our hearts. Then everyone will know why we have been doing the Lord's work. At that time God will give to each one whatever praise is coming to him. (1 Cor 4:5 TLB) 

As believers, each of us must be true to the work assigned to our hands.  We must be fully committed and give our all to it.  We look not for confirmation nor affirmation from men, but humbly go about our assignment letting the work we do speak for us.

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for allowing us to be apart of your work in the earth.  Help us to go about our assignments with patience and humility allowing our work to speak for us.  Amen!

Col 3:23-24. . . .And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;  Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. KJV

WORK ON SERVANTS!

3-1-2022. . . .WORK ON SAINTS!

"My enemies will fall back and perish in your presence;  you have vindicated me; you have endorsed my work, declaring from your throne that it is good.  (Ps 9:3-4 TLB)  

As challenging as it may be, regard not the many naysayers who have no problem expressing their venomous opinions and judging our call, charge, and commission.  God himself puts his stamp of approval on us (the anointing) and we have no need for man's approval or sanction.  God vindicates his anointed and declares our work good!   So, work on Servants!

PRAYER: Lord, you alone have called us and qualified us to do what we do.  Help us to look only to you for approval and vindication from the accusations of our enemies.  Amen!
