FAITH ACTIONS!

8-19-2015. . . .FAITH ACTIONS!

"When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee." (Mark 2:5 KJV)  Faith always has a visible manifestation!  One can't simply say "I have faith" and not add actions with it.  Even though the object and or objectives (end results) of our faith may not be seen, the actions of what we believe will!  Faith actions will overcome great obstacles to achieve it's desired end.  How could Jesus not respond to seeing the roof where He was, literally torn off by the faith actions of the individuals bearing their friend!  Will He not also respond when He sees the visible manifestation of ours?

Prayer: Lord, thank you in advance for responding when you see the actions of our faith.  Amen!

James 2:26. . . .For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.  KJV

FLOW WITH HIM!

8-18-2015. . . .FLOW WITH HIM!

"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." (1 Peter 5:6-7 KJV)  Promotion will come when we submit to God's way,  God's plan, and God's timing!  Impatience only hinders the process!  Don't fight against Him, flow with Him!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for having everything under control.  Help us stay submitted to your way, plan, and timing!  Amen.

Ps 75:5-8. . . . For promotion and power come from nowhere on earth, but only from God. He promotes one and deposes another. TLB

WHO IS WILLING!

8-11-2015. . . .WHO IS WILLING!

"Show me the path where I should go, O Lord; point out the right road for me to walk.  Lead me; teach me; for you are the God who gives me salvation. I have no hope except in you."( Ps 25:4-6TLB)  Left to our own devices, most certainly we would run-a-muck.  We've all demonstrated this in times passed.  God however, is not only able, but He is also more than willing to guide and direct our steps if we ask and submit our will to His will.  Now, who is willing?

PRAYER: Lord, guide and direct our steps into the way you desire for us to go.  Keep our feet from stumbling and from wandering off in directions you have not ordered.  Amen!

Job 23:10-11. . . . But he knows every detail of what is happening to me; and when he has examined me, he will pronounce me completely innocent-as pure as solid gold!   "I have stayed in God's paths, following his steps. I have not turned aside. TLB

THE WORD IS THE WORD!

8-7-2015. . . .THE WORD IS THE WORD!

"You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you." (Deut 4:2-3 NKJV) The word is the word! We cannot change or adjust it to fit our own personal agendas; nor can we tailor it to justify and under-gird our selfish beliefs and doctrines.  Again, the word is the word!  Receive  it - believe it - follow it!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for your word.  It is what it is!  We receive it, we believe it, and with all our power we will follow it.  Amen!

Ps 33:4-5. . . . For the word of the LORD is right, And all His work is done in truth.  He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the goodness of the LORD. NKJV

A LOSING AFFAIR!

8/6/2015. . . .A LOSING AFFAIR!

"And let us not get tired of doing what is right, for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't get discouraged and give up."  (Gal 6:9-10 TLB)  One of the easiest things in the world to do is give up; especially when one losses hope and becomes discouraged!  The thing about giving up is, not only do we lose the time and effort it took to get us to that place of decision, we also lose the reward and satisfaction of seeing a thing through to the end!  Keep on doing what is right and don't let your efforts become a losing affair!

PRAYER: Lord, strengthen us in our struggles as we strive to do what is right and complete our life assignments.  Amen!

Heb 10:35-37. . . . Do not let this happy trust in the Lord die away, no matter what happens. Remember your reward!   You need to keep on patiently doing God's will if you want him to do for you all that he has promised. TLB

NOT BECAUSE HE CAN'T!

8-5-15. . .NOT BECAUSE HE CAN'T!

"There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee."  (Josh 1:5 KJV)  The long standing and often stated adage that "God can do anything, but fail" is not grounded in an inability on God's part to do so: far if God can do anything, then He can do every thing including fail!  Rather, God does not fail because He has declared and determined that He WILL NOT FAIL!  His word will never return to him void.  Our faith and trust in God then is strengthened by knowing that its not because He cannot fail, (He can do anything) but because He will not fail!

PRAYER: Mighty God, thank you for declaring and determining that you will not ever fail us!  There is no lack in your ability to do any and every thing!  Your word is your expressed will and we stand firmly upon the fact that it shall never fail or return to you void.  Amen.

Isa 55:11. . . .11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.  NKJV

GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS!

8-4-2015 . . . .GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS!

"Yet there is one ray of hope:  his compassion never ends. It is only the Lord's mercies that have kept us from complete destruction.  Great is his faithfulness; his loving-kindness begins afresh each day." (Lam 3:21-24 TLB)  On our worst days and in the mist of our most dismal dilemmas, we are never left without one ray of hope.  That hope lies in the unfailing faithfulness of God!  Even in spite of the fact that bad choices and decisions may have brought us to our current position, His mercy yet keeps us so that His grace can reach us.  We join with Jeremiah in proclaiming, "GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS!

PRAYER: Lord, Thank you for your mercy, grace and faithfulness!  Amen.

Lam 3:24-26. . . . My soul claims the Lord as my inheritance; therefore I will hope in him.  The Lord is wonderfully good to those who wait for him, to those who seek for him.  It is good both to hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. TLB
