11-12-2012. . . .KEEP UP THE IMAGE!
"But be holy now in everything you do, just as the Lord is holy, who invited you to be his child. He himself has said, "You must be holy, for I am holy." (1 Peter 1:14-16 15 TLB) God is Holy! We were made in His image and after His likeness! As a result of disobedience, sin perverted our image. However, through His obedience, Jesus the Christ restored it! God would never ask us to be something we could not be. We therefore, must do all we can do to keep up the image!
Prayer: Lord, thank you for creating us in your own image and after your likeness. Help us Lord to keep up the image! Amen.
Lev 11:455. . . . For I am the Lord who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God. You must therefore be holy, for I am holy."TLB
