"And so, dear brothers, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living sacrifice, holy-the kind he can accept. When you think of what he has done for you, is this too much to ask?" (Rom 12:1-2 TLB) God has done His part in providing salvation to us through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus the Christ. Our greatest thank you to Him is a holy life!
Prayer: Lord, thank you for the gift of salvation! Help us demonstrate our gratitude by presenting to you a holy life. Amen!
Rom 6:22-23. . . . But now you are free from the power of sin and are slaves of God, and his benefits to you include holiness and everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. TLB
