11-18-2011. . . .THANK GOD FOR THE ELDERS!
"Is anyone sick? He should call for the elders of the church and they should pray over him and pour a little oil upon him, calling on the Lord to heal him. And their prayer, if offered in faith, will heal him, for the Lord will make him well; and if his sickness was caused by some sin, the Lord will forgive him. (James 5:14-15 TLB) We must honor and value the men and women God has placed under. In times of sickness, their prayers for us will move God to heal us. Thank God for the Elders!
PRAYER: Lord, thank you for the men and women you have placed over us as Elders. Thank you for hearing and healing when they call! Amen!
James 5:16. . . .Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. KJV
