11-18-2009. . . .KEEP UP THE IMAGE!
God is Holy and we were made in His image and after His likeness. While sin as a result of disobedience perverted our image, Jesus the Christ through His obedience, restored it! God would never ask us to be something we could not be. "But be holy now in everything you do, just as the Lord is holy, who invited you to be his child. He himself has said, "You must be holy, for I am holy." (1 Peter 1:14-16 15 TLB) We therefore, must do all we can do to keep up the image!
Prayer: Lord, thank you for creating us in your own image and after your likeness. He us Lord to keep up the image! Amen.
Lev 11:455. . . . For I am the Lord who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God. You must therefore be holy, for I am holy."TLB
