5-26-2009. . . . The Power of your Prayer!

Never under estimate the power of your prayers. It is a valuable resource God has given us to communicate directly with Him. When done effectually (sufficient to produce a desired effect) and fervently (with emotion, deep feeling) it will avail or bring forth much! “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” (James 5:16 KJV) As believers, we are confident that our prayers do not fall on deaf ears. God hears and answers our prayers! “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” (1 John 5:14-15 KJV) So, don’t be fearful or anxious simply go to God in prayer. He is waiting to hear from you and to respond when you call on Him. “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” ( Phil 4:6 KJV)

Prayer: Lord, thank you for our direct line of communication with you. Thank you for always listening and responding to our prayers.

Mark 11:23-24. . . .
