5-21-2009. . . . Give Us This Day!
What do you need from God today? Before you answer, and then like me, come up with a long list of assorted things that fall more in the category of 'wants' rather than 'needs', Jesus simplified it for us in the model prayer He taught His disciples. ". . . .Give us this day our daily bread!. . ." Give us today those things that will nourish us physically, mentally and spiritually! Give us this day only that which will enable us to move forward in divine destiny and purpose. Give us this day things to make us better and to overcome those things in life that make us bitter. Give us this day revelation of your divine schedule for our lives and help us to stay on time and in time. "You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your book!" (Ps 139:16 TLB) Give us this day, that we might live to bring you glory and advance your kingdom here on earth! Lord, Give Us This Day!

Prayer: Lord, thank you for another day of life. You know what I have need of before I even ask. Therefore, I receive gladly what you have already determined to give me, for it is sufficient for me! Amen.
Matt 6:26. . . . Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? KJV
