1-27-2010. . . .WHAT ARE YOU FULL OF?
"And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;" (Eph 5:188 KJV) What ever fills us has influence over us! If alcohol fills us, it has influence over us; If drugs - -influence; if Hate -- influence; if Anger - - influence. What ever fills us influences us. If Love - - influence; If Generosity - - influence; If the Spirit - -influence! What ever fills us influences us! What are you full of?
Prayer: Lord, fill me daily with your Spirit to the end that there is no room for anything else! I want to be completely influenced by You alone. Amen!
Eph 5:15-18. . . . So be careful how you act; these are difficult days. Don't be fools; be wise: make the most of every opportunity you have for doing good. 17 Don't act thoughtlessly, but try to find out and do whatever the Lord wants you to. 18 Don't drink too much wine, for many evils lie along that path; be filled instead with the Holy Spirit and controlled by him.
