"In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express." (Rom 8:26 NIV) A good way to detect when we are caught up in our weaknesses is to examine the essences of our prayers. When our prayers our more 'self directed' than 'Spirit directed' we are operating out of our weakness. Yet in that place of weakness, the Holy Spirit is available to help us and direct us in ways we can't even imagine. Help is available!
Prayer: Lord, thank you for the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, help me in my weakness and interceed on my behalf. Amen.
