"Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer." (Ps 19:14 KJV)
We would do well to ask ourselves this question before we speak: "Is what I'm about to say going to be pleasing to the Lord?" If the answer is no or, I don't know, then it is probably better for us not to say it at all! We should always think first, then speak!
Prayer: Lord, help us to always speak words that are pleasing to you and helpful to others. Amen!
Ps 19:14. . . . May my spoken words and unspoken thoughts be pleasing even to you, O Lord my Rock and my Redeemer. TLB
