"And as Christ's soldier, do not let yourself become tied up in worldly affairs, for then you cannot satisfy the one who has enlisted you in his army. Follow the Lord's rules for doing his work, just as an athlete either follows the rules or is disqualified and wins no prize." (2 Tim 2:3-5 TLB)
As a good soldier, our lives are not our own. We are under orders and they must be the priority of our life. We don't take orders from the world and are not obliged to follow it's demands. Remember, we are in the world but not of the world!
Prayer: Lord, you are our commander and we must follow your orders at all times. Help us and strengthen us so that we don't deviate. Amen!
Rom 12:2. . . . And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. KJV
