"And even though Jesus was God's Son, he had to learn from experience what it was like to obey when obeying meant suffering. It was after he had proved himself perfect in this experience that Jesus became the Giver of eternal salvation to all those who obey him."
(Heb 5:8-10 TLB")
Our matriculation through the university of adversity is necessary and essential to our development. Jesus set the example and achieved his full destined potential having learned the obedience lesson through the things he suffered. If we are unwilling to learn our lesson of obedience and go through, we will never get through. Consequently, we'll end up as something less and with something much less than was destined. Pass the class; learn the lesson!
PRAYER: Lord, learning life's lessons can at times be so difficult and opting out is such a convenient and easy option. Help us to follow your example and go through to get through and achieve our greatest potential. Amen!
Rom 8:22. . . .All around us we observe a pregnant creation. The difficult times of pain throughout the world are simply birth pangs. But it's not only around us; it's within us. MSG
