"And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him,"Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?" Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. But He said to them, "Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?" And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, "Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!" (Mark 4:37-41 NKJV) When everything around us is in distress and turmoil, peace on the inside keeps us from panic and fear on the outside. Speak Peace, then command the circumstances, (whatever they may be) to be still!
PRAYER: Lord, thank you for giving us the power to speak to our circumstances and yet remain in peace on the inside. It is a much needed help to us. Amen.
Mark 11:22-23. . . . And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
