FAITH ACTIONS!

11-5-2013. . . .FAITH ACTIONS!  

"When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee." (Mark 2:5 KJV)  Faith always has a visible manifestation!  One can't simply say "I have faith" and not add actions with it.  Even though the object and or objectives (end results) of our faith may not be seen, the actions of what we believe will!  Faith actions will overcome great obstacles to achieve it's desired end.  How could Jesus not respond to seeing the roof where He was, literally torn off by the faith actions of the four bearing there friend!!!!  Will He not also respond when He sees the visible manifestation of ours?

Prayer: Lord, thank you in advance for responding when you see the actions of our faith.  Amen!

James 2:26. . . .For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.  KJV

SPEAK ONLY THESE!

"All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.  They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge." (Prov 8:8-9 KJV)  Words of wisdom and truth stand strong on legs of integrity.  They require no later explanation or recanting.  Speak only these!

Prayer: Lord, help us to guard our speech so that what we say will stand in integrity.  Amen!

Titus 2:7-8. . . .In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,  Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you. KJV

LIVE LIFE GOD'S WAY!

11-1-2013. . . .LIVE LIFE GOD'S WAY!

"Every law of God is right, whatever it concerns. I hate every other way.  Your laws are wonderful; no wonder I obey them.   As your plan unfolds, even the simple can understand it.  No wonder I wait expectantly for each of your commands." (Ps 119:128-131 TLB)  Although life will not be without it's challenges, living it God's way and according to His plan and commands makes it a whole lot easier!  Live life God's way! 

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for your plan for our lives!  Help us to help ourselves by following your plan and commands!  Amen!

A LOSING AFFAIR!

10/31/2013. . . .A LOSING AFFAIR!

"And let us not get tired of doing what is right, for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't get discouraged and give up."  (Gal 6:9-10 TLB)  One of the easiest things in the world to do is give up, especially when one losses hope and becomes discouraged!  The thing about giving up is, we lose the time and effort it took to get us to that place of decision, as well as, the reward and satisfaction of seeing a thing through to the end!  Keep on doing what is right and don't let your efforts become a losing affair!

PRAYER: Lord, strengthen us in our struggles as we strive to do what is right and complete our life assignments.  Amen!

Heb 10:35-37. . . . Do not let this happy trust in the Lord die away, no matter what happens. Remember your reward!   You need to keep on patiently doing God's will if you want him to do for you all that he has promised. TLB

MAKE EVERY DAY COUNT!

"Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."  (1 Cor 15:58 NIV)  Serving the Lord with not only pay off by and by, but it pays dividends day by day!  Make every day count!

PRAYER: Lord, may the work that we have done and are doing for you daily make a differnce and have lasting kingdom impact!  Amen!

RIGHT IS RIGHT!

10-29-2013. . . .RIGHT IS RIGHT!

"And as for you, brothers, never tire of doing what is right."  (2 Thess 3:13 NIV)  It is always right to do what is right; especially when no one is looking!  Never tire of being right, doing right and living right!  Right is right and will always be right!

PRAYER: Lord, lead us daily into to the paths of what is right.  Help us to do right, be right, and always live right.  Amen!

Prov 4:10-13. . . . My son, listen to me and do as I say, and you will have a long, good life.  I would have you learn this great fact: that a life of doing right is the wisest life there is.  If you live that kind of life, you'll not limp or stumble as you run.  Carry out my instructions; don't forget them, for they will lead you to real living.  TLB

LIFE'S POTENTIAL!

10-25-2013. . . .LIFE'S POTENTIAL!

"Moses was 120 years old when he died, yet his eyesight was perfect and he was as strong as a young man." (Deut 34:7-8 TLB)  With God, all things are possible even life-long health, strength and prosperity.  Don't allow bad life choices to diminish life's potential!   When we take care of God's business, God takes care of us!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for giving us life-long health, strength and prosperity in order that we may carry out and complete your divine purpose in us!  Amen!
