CHOOSE A SIDE!

11-14-2014. . . .CHOOSE A SIDE!

"But when I, the Messiah, shall come in my glory, and all the angels with me, then I shall sit upon my throne of glory.  And all the nations shall be gathered before me. And I will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats, and place the sheep at my right hand, and the goats at my left." (Matt 25:31-33 TLB)   Ultimately, all people and all nations will stand before the King.  He alone knows and will identify all who belong to Him.  The judgment then will be His alone.  The choice now however, is ours.  Choose a side. . . .Sheep or Goats!O
Prayer: Lord, thank you for the opportunity to choose our side now before you judge then.  We gladly choose you today and always!  Amen.

2 Peter 3:9-10. . . . He isn't really being slow about his promised return, even though it sometimes seems that way. But he is waiting, for the good reason that he is not willing that any should perish, and he is giving more time for sinners to repent.  The day of the Lord is surely coming, as unexpectedly as a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the heavenly bodies will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be burned up. MESS UP FESS UP!

11-12-2014. . . .MESS UP FESS UP!

"Let God train you, for he is doing what any loving father does for his children. Whoever heard of a son who was never corrected?  If God doesn't punish you when you need it, as other fathers punish their sons, then it means that you aren't really God's son at all-that you don't really belong in his family.  Since we respect our fathers here on earth, though they punish us, should we not all the more cheerfully submit to God's training so that we can begin really to live?" (Heb 12:7-9  TLB)  If left to our own devices, we all run amok and our human tendencies would have us running completely off the rails.  Even with God's hand heavy upon us, we still at time veer from the prescribed path.  Out of love, God does not throw us away but He lovingly corrects us.  So when we mess up, fess up and allow God to lovingly straighten us up.

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for lovingly correcting us whenever we veer from your prescribed path.  Amen!

Eph 2:1-7. . . .Once you were under God's curse, doomed forever for your sins.  You went along with the crowd and were just like all the others, full of sin, obeying Satan, the mighty prince of the power of the air, who is at work right now in the hearts of those who are against the Lord.  All of us used to be just as they are, our lives expressing the evil within us, doing every wicked thing that our passions or our evil thoughts might lead us into. We started out bad, being born with evil natures, and were under God's anger just like everyone else.  But God is so rich in mercy; he loved us so much that even though we were spiritually dead and doomed by our sins, he gave us back our lives again when he raised Christ from the dead-only by his undeserved favor have we ever been saved-  and lifted us up from the grave into glory along with Christ, where we sit with him in the heavenly realms-all because of what Christ Jesus did.  And now God can always point to us as examples of how very, very rich his kindness is, as shown in all he has done for us through Jesus Christ. RENEWED STRENGTH!

11-11-14. . . .RENEWED STRENGTH!

He energizes those who get tired, gives fresh strength to dropouts.  For even young people tire and drop out, young folk in their prime stumble and fall.  But those who wait upon God get fresh strength.  They spread their wings and soar like eagles, They run and don't get tired, they walk and don't lag behind. (Isa 40:29-31 MSG)  Just when the devil thinks he has us defeated because we've grown weary and seemingly, out of strength to continue the fight, God renews our strength and causes us to rise up and triumph over the enemy once again!  Don't give in; renewed strength is coming to you!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for always causing us to triumph over our enemies and giving us renewed strength in our most needful times.  Amen!

2 Sam 22:33-36. . . .God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.  He maketh my feet like hinds' feet: and setteth me upon my high places.  He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.  Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great. AFTER THIS!

11-7-2014. . . .AFTER THIS!
"So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.  After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, even four generations. (Job 42:12 &16 KJV)  No matter what we have to go through, there are two things that are for certain; there is a beginning and an ending to it!  It's really not a matter then of, "what we go through" but rather, "how we go through!"  Unwavering faith in God's providential care will ultimately result in victory and greater blessings.  Remember, it may be challenging now, but AFTER THIS!!!!!

Prayer:
Lord, thank you for your love and providential care that always results for us in victory and blessings! Through the intensity of our dilemmas, help us always remember this and not weaver.  Amen!

Job 23:10-12. . . . But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.   My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined.   Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.  KJV

GOD SAYS YES!

11-6-2014. . . .GOD SAYS YES!

"And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested." (1 Chron 4:10 KJV)  God says yes when our request are in line with His will and desires for us.   God wants us to have more than what we have right now; therefore, we should want only what God wants for us!  Then, when we make request of Him, GOD SAYS YES!

Prayer: Lord, thank you for hearing and answering our prayers!  Thank you for granting our petitions that are in line with your will, and denying those that are not.  Help us not to pout in times of denial, but to yield to your will.  Amen!

1 John 5:14-15. . . . And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:  And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.  KJV

NEED FAITH!

11-5-2014. . . .NEED FAITH!

"And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.   Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you."  (Matt 9:28-29 KJV)  If the miraculous is to happen for us as it did for the blind man, it will be because our your faith!  Faith actives the power of God on our behalf.  Need a miracle.....Need faith!

Prayer: Lord, we believe you can do all things.  By faith we believe and receive.  Amen!

Heb 11:6. . . . But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.  KJV

WHAT'S YOUR LIMIT!

11-3-2014. . . . WHAT'S YOUR LIMIT?

Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.   And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.  (Matt 21:21-22 KJV)  Never under estimate the power of Faith!  The impossible is suddenly possible!  The immovable, moves!  The possible is only limited by our faith!  What's your Limit?

Prayer: Lord,  thank you for giving each of us the measure of faith.  With it, may there be on limits to the possible.  Amen!

Matt 21:21-22. . . . Then Jesus told them, "Truly, if you have faith and don't doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this Mount of Olives, 'Move over into the ocean,' and it will.  You can get anything-anything you ask for in prayer-if you believe."  TLB
