With each new day comes expectations of the greater!  God is committed to it and will see the process through to completion.  So, be encouraged!  You will not be God's first failure!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for the process towards perfection!  Help us to submit to your process and not fight against it.  Amen!

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." (Jer 29:11 NKJV)  

God's thoughts about our life is what we should see and experience in our life!  Anything else is not of God nor from God!  Take inventory and clear your life of anything and everything but the God stuff!  The God stuff is the only good stuff!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for daily loading us with benefits!  You are good and you do good.  Thank you for a future and great expectation!  Amen!

EMBRACE THE NEW!

8-29-2018. . . .EMBRACE THE NEW!

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."  (2 Cor 5:17 KJV)  

God doing a new thing in us facilitates new things happening for us!  Let the old pass: old thinking, old connections, old traditions, old actions, and embrace the new!  It's that time!  God for it!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for saving us and giving us new life through Jesus Christ!  Help us to let the old pass and to embrace the new with joy!  Amen.

HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY!

8-24-2018. . . .HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY!

"Finally,  brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." (Phil 4:8 KJV) 

Honesty is among the eight things that should always occupy a believer's mind. Honest thoughts will produce honest behavior.  An advantage or gain achieved any way other than honestly, is really not an advantage or gain at all.  Honesty is still the best policy!

Prayer: Lord, help us to think about things that are honest and act on those thoughts immediately.  Amen!

Phil 4:8-9. . . .Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things. PLENTY OF ROOM NOT PLENTY OF TIME!

"In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."   (John 14:2-3 KJV)  

When Jesus returns (and he surely will return) His agenda will be to retrieve everyone He has prepared a place for.  Accept Him today!  There is still plenty of room, but not plenty of time!

PRAYER: Lord, we pray that everyone will accept you as their savior before it is too late.  Help us daily to be witnesses for you to the world.  Amen!

BE ON THE LOOKOUT!

"Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. (Matt 25:13 KJV)  

An 'APB' is an ALL POINTS BULLETIN!  It is a message usually issued by the authorities putting everyone on alert to be on the lookout for a certain person or persons!  Heaven is the ultimate authority and has issued it's APB!  Be on the lookout for the Lord, Jesus Christ!  He will descend from the clouds at any moment and at any time!  He's soon to return.  BE ON THE LOOKOUT!

PRAYER: Lord, we know that you are coming as you said you would.  We are waiting and will be forever on the lookout!  Amen.

Luke 12:39-40. . . ."Everyone would be ready for him if they knew the exact hour of his return-just as they would be ready for a thief if they knew when he was coming.  So be ready all the time. For I, the Messiah, will come when least expected."  TLB

EARMARKS OF OUR LIFE!

                                         8-17-2018. . . .EARMARKS OF OUR LIFE!

"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.  For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;  Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth."  (1 Tim 2:1-4 KJV)  

What kind of life are we living?  Is it acceptable to God?  What are the earmarks of our lives?  Are they prayer, supplications and intercessions and the giving of thanks?  Most Importantly, are we following after godliness and HONESTY?  This is the life that is acceptable to God.  We deceive only ourselves if our lives are anything different.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for a standard of godliness and honesty!  May they forever be the earmarks of our lives. Amen!

1 Tim 2:1-4. . . . Here are my directions: Pray much for others; plead for God's mercy upon them; give thanks for all he is going to do for them.  Pray in this way for kings and all others who are in authority over us, or are in places of high responsibility, so that we can live in peace and quietness, spending our time in godly living and thinking much about the Lord.  This is good and pleases God our Savior,  for he longs for all to be saved and to understand this truth:  TLB

OPT FOR GOD'S WILL!

8-15-2018 . . . .OPT FOR GOD'S WILL!

"For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.  And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever."  (1 John 2:16-17 KJV)  

The things we see and want in this world all have a short shelf life and are certain to soon pass away.   If we go after things that are not in God's will for us, our shelf life will become short as well.   Opt for longevity!  Do God's will and live forever.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for options and the free will to choose.  Forgive us for our past bad choices and help us to opt for your will over the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of this life.  Amen.

1 John 2:15-17. . . . Stop loving this evil world and all that it offers you, for when you love these things you show that you do not really love God; 16 for all these worldly things, these evil desires-the craze for sex, the ambition to buy everything that appeals to you, and the pride that comes from wealth and importance-these are not from God. HAVE YOU CHECKED YOUR HEART LATELY!

8-14-2018. . . .HAVE YOU CHECKED YOUR HEART LATELY!

"But the good soil represents honest, good-hearted people. They listen to God's words and cling to them and steadily spread them to others who also soon believe."  (Luke 8:15 TLB)  

In this parable, Jesus taught His disciples about the sower and his seeds. The ground in which the seed (the Word) was most effective was "Good and Honest" ground.  The heart is that good and honest ground!  Honesty in one's heart will always produce fruits of good works and love.   Conversely, a dishonest heart will produce dishonest acts!  Have you checked your heart lately?

Prayer: Lord, work on my heart.  Keep my heart forever honest so that your word will always find a place to flourish.  Amen.

Mark 7:21-23. . . . For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts of lust, theft, murder, adultery,  wanting what belongs to others, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, pride, and all other folly.  All these vile things come from within; they are what pollute you and make you unfit for God."  TLB

SMILE. . . .GOD IS BRING US OUT!

"For see, today I have made you impervious to their attacks. They cannot harm you. You are strong like a fortified city that cannot be captured, like an iron pillar and heavy gates of brass. All the kings of Judah, its officers, priests, and people will not be able to prevail against you.  They will try, but they will fail. For I am with you," says the Lord. "I will deliver you." (Jer 1:18-19 TLB) 

The enemy will and in fact, 'IS' attacking us it seems on every side yet, we are still standing!  Why?  God has made us impervious to every attack.  No matter the position or the power of the enemy, they will not prevail against us.  So Smile. . . .God is bringing us out!

Prayer: Lord, thank you for bringing us out.  The enemy's position and power will not prevail and his attacks are rendered ineffective.  Amen!

 Isa 54:17. . . .No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. KJV

TRAINED BY THE BEST!

"Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:  My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me. (Ps 144:1-2 KJV) 

Fighting without training is futile!  A good fighter is a well-trained fighter!   We're being trained by the best! 

Prayer: Lord, thank you for training us to be good fighters.  Direct us in every fight so that we always emerge victoriously!  Amen!

THE CHOICE IS OURS!

"If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:  But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it."  (Isa 1:19-20 KJV)  

Choose to be blessed by being willing and obedient and we will experience the best life has to offer.   The alternative is to be cursed and devoured!  The choice is ours!

Prayer: Lord, your desire is to bless us and to have us experience the best that life has to offer.  All you require is our willingness and obedience!  We give both to you now and forever.  Amen!

Ps 35:27. . . .Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. KJV

YOU ARE DOOMED!

"They will be mighty warriors for God, grinding their enemies' faces into the dust beneath their feet. The Lord is with them as they fight; their enemy is doomed. (Zech 10:5 TLB)  

Let all our enemies be fair warned!   Fight us if you must, but know this enemy, whoever or whatever you are.......YOU ARE DOOMED!   We will grind you into the dust beneath our feet as we march to victory!

Prayer: Lord, thank you for always being with us as we fight!  May all our enemies be vanquished and know that the battle is yours and the victory is ours.  Amen!
