NO OTHER WAY!

5-29-2015. . . .GOD WILL HAVE NO OTHER WAY!

"Give your burdens to the Lord. He will carry them. He will not permit the godly to slip or fall." (Ps 55:22 TLB)  A word of encouragement to give hope to the hopeless, help to the helpless, and rest to the weary.  We're going to make it!  Secure that in your spirit and stay encouraged!  Know that for the godly, God will have it no other way!

PRAYER: Lord, you are so awesome!  You care for us in so many special ways!  Thank you for carrying our burdens and securing our feet so we will never slip or fall!  Thank you!  Amen.

Ps 121:1-3. . . . Shall I look to the mountain gods for help?  No! My help is from Jehovah who made the mountains! And the heavens too!  He will never let me stumble, slip, or fall. For he is always watching, never sleeping. TLB

GOD'S GOT ME!

5-28-2015. . . .GOD'S GOT ME!

"Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with my victorious right hand."  (Isa 41:10 TLB)  No matter how serious the challenge or how mighty the enemy, we need not fear because God, by His on volition, has chosen to help us!  He promises strength, help, and most importantly, victory!

Prayer: Lord, you are our strength, our help, our Victory!  Thank you for choosing to be on our side!  Amen.

Ps 27:1-3. . . .The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?  When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.  Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.  KJV

LET HIM HANDLE IT!

5-27-2015. . . .LET HIM HANDLE IT!

"Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don't forget to thank him for his answers.   If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus." (Phil 4:5-7 TLB)    Why worry about things that are out of our control. Worrying increases stress while doing nothing to facilitate a solution to the pressing problem.  The things that are out of our control are never out of God's control.  Tell Him about it, thank Him for it, and let Him handle it!  Then, rest your mind!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you that you are in control and you have everything under control!  We give you are stress and receive your rest.  Amen!

Phil 4:6-7. . . . Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. NIV

ASK GOD!

5-26-15. . . .ASK GOD!

"Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know." (Jer 33:3 NKJV)  When circumstances and challenges continually plague and perplex our mind, and in spite of exerting our best efforts to resolve and find solutions for them, none can be found; ASK GOD!  He will hear and He will answer!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for always hearing and answering our cries to you!  In spite of us trying to fix things on our own before we turn to you, You are still there ready to hear and respond to our cries for help.  Thank you.  Amen!

Ps 61:1-2. . . .Hear my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer.  From the end of the earth I will cry to You,
When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.  NKJV

BE DONE AND MOVE ON!

5-22-2015. . . .BE DONE AND MOVE ON!

"Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all" (Ps 34:19 KJV)  The life of the righteous is not without it's challenges and rightfully so.  We too must go through difficulties and problems.  As we go through however, we are assured that we will get through because the LORD has promised it!  So go through, get through, be done, and move on!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for deliverance from all our afflictions.  With the assurance of your promise we endure and press on!  Amen.

Ps 23:4. . . .Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.  KJV

IN THE WORLD NOT OF THE WORLD!

5-21-2015. . . .NOT OF THE WORLD!

"And as Christ's soldier, do not let yourself become tied up in worldly affairs, for then you cannot satisfy the one who has enlisted you in his army.   Follow the Lord's rules for doing his work, just as an athlete either follows the rules or is disqualified and wins no prize."  (2 Tim 2:3-5 TLB)   As good soldiers, our lives are not our own.  We are under orders and those orders must be the priority of our lives.  We don't take orders from the world and are not obliged to follow it's demands.    We are in the world, but not of the world!

Prayer: Lord, you are our commander and we must follow your orders at all times.  Help us and strengthen us so that we don't deviate or disobey.  Amen!

Rom 12:2. . . . And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.  KJV

NO RESOLVE AND NO WINNERS!

5-20-2015. . . .NO RESOLVE AND NO WINNERS!

"A gentle response defuses anger, but a sharp tongue kindles a temper-fire." (Prov 15:1)  In a heated (overheated) argument, there is no resolve and no winners; the damage left in it's wake is often irreparable.  Avoid this outcome at all cost!

PRAYER: Lord, help us to be pro-active and not re-active in guarding ourselves against being provoked to anger.  Strengthen us and quicken us to be on guard against the tricks of our enemies.  Amen!

Prov 15:4. . . . Kind words heal and help; cutting words wound and maim.

DELIVERANCE THROUGH LOVE!

5-19-2015. . . .DELIVERANCE THROUGH LOVE!

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 kjv)  Resist the temptation to self judge; the result will always be to convict, condemn, and crucify.  Jesus has a better way. Come clean and confess; He'll take it from there and forgive us, then work with us, in us and through us to eradicate the sin problem so that the actions will not be repeated. Now that's deliverance through love!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for not throwing us away when we mess up!  Your faithfulness to us is unmatched.  Help us to daily walk in your righteousness. Amen.

Rom 5:16-17. . . . Again, the gift of God is not like the result of the one man's sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification.  For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ. NIV

HANG IN THERE AND KEEP FIGHTING!

5-15-2015. . . . .HANG IN THERE AND KEEP FIGHTING!

"And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly."  (Rom 16:20 NKJV)   If you have ever watched a professional boxing match, you've noticed that when the rounds are about to end, the pace of the fighters quicken.  When the final round of the fight comes, the battle seems to intensify all the more because both fighters know this is their last opportunity to get their punches in!  Our battle with Satan has intensified only because he knows his time is short.  Soon, he will be crushed under our feet and our arms will be raised in victory!  Hang in there and keep fighting!  The fight is fixed! :-)

Prayer: Thank you Lord for victory through Jesus Christ.  Strengthen us to withstand the battles in order that we may win the war.  Amen.

1 Cor 15:58. . . .So, my dear brothers, since future victory is sure, be strong and steady, always abounding in the Lord's work, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever wasted as it would be if there were no resurrection.  TLB

PRIORITY ONE!

5-14-2015. . . .PRIORITY ONE!

"In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success. (Prov 3:4-6 TLB) When God is priority one in our lives, success will not be an intermittent nor temporary experience!   It will be our lifestyle.

PRAYER: Lord, we need and seek your direction.  We acknowledge you in all our ways; please Lord, direct our path.  Amen!

Prov 3:5-6. .  .Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. KJV

BE RESPONSIBLE!

5-13-2015. . . .BE RESPONSIBLE!

"Tell those who are rich not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which will soon be gone, but their pride and trust should be in the living God who always richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and should give happily to those in need, always being ready to share with others whatever God has given them."  (1 Tim 6:17-18 TLB)  Those who have much have a great responsibility to be responsible and accountable to God.  What is done with one's riches is of far greater and lasting value then the riches themselves.

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for the blessing of riches.  Help us to be responsible and accountable to you and to do all we can when we can to be a blessing to others in need.  Amen!

Luke 12:48b. . . .Much is required from those to whom much is given, for their responsibility is greater. TLB

LET GOD HANDLE IT!

5-12-2015. . . .LET HIM HANDLE IT!

Worry increases stress while doing nothing to facilitate a solution to the pressing problem.  The things that are out of our control are never out of God's control.  Tell Him about it, thank Him for it, and let Him handle it!

WHO WANTS TO BE A STAR!

5-8-2015. . . .WHO WANTS TO BE A STAR!

"And those who are wise-the people of God-shall shine as brightly as the sun's brilliance, and those who turn many to righteousness will glitter like stars forever. (Dan 12:3 TLB)  Although, down here we may endure persecution and ridicule for taking a stand for righteousness; but there will come a day when we will shine as brightly as any star!  Now, who wants to be a star!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for our coming glory.  Stay with us as we endure our test and trials in this present world.  We look forward to being one of your stars!  Amen.

Rom 8:18-19. . . . Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will give us later.  For all creation is waiting patiently and hopefully for that future day when God will resurrect his children. TLB

BACK TO BASICS!

5-6-2015. . . .BACK TO BASICS!

"My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity.  Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.  Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man." (Prov 3:1-4 NIV)   Life has no road map, but if we follow some basic principles, we will successfully navigate our way through it!  Follow His plan. . . .Get back to basics!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for ordering the steps and stops of our life.  Help us to stick to the plan and the basic principles you have set out for us.  Amen.

Ps 37:23-24. . . .The steps of good men are directed by the Lord. He delights in each steps they take.  If they fall it isn't fatal, for the Lord holds them with his hand. TLB

5-1-2015. . . .TAKE ACTION!

What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead.  Men of God in days of old were famous for their faith.  By faith-by believing God-we know that the world and the stars-in fact, all things-were made at God's command; and that they were all made from things that can't be seen. (Heb 11:1-3. . . . TLB) Faith is not presumption or assumption; Faith is an action! Believing and trusting God beyond what we see and know.   Confidently walking and living in the reality God's proceeding and prevailing word that will not fail. Today, whatever you are believing God for, take action and walk in it!

PRAYER: Lord, today and always we believe you and we believe in the power of you never failing word.  Therefore, we take action and walk by faith and not by sight.  Amen.

Isa 55:11. . . .So will the words that come out of my mouth not come back empty-handed. They'll do the work I sent them to do, they'll complete the assignment I gave them.
